Limited Edition Sketchbook is done!
I finished filling up my sketchbook for the Limited Edition Sketchbook project the other day. This project, put on by the Art House Co-op was limited to 5,000 artists participating. Sign-ups closed a while ago and all sketchbooks are due to be postmarked April 30th. The exhibit and tour for this Sketchbook project will begin in June, 2012. There is something different about this project:
Every contributor to the Sketchbook Project Limited Edition Vol. 1 will be included in a series of art books documenting the project. Together, the series will provide insight into the imagination and process of each artist participating in the project. Bound by the Brooklyn Art Library Press and hand-finished in our Brooklyn workshop, the book series will be published in the fall of 2012.
Cool! You can click on any photo to see more details, if you see a plus sign "+" you can click again.
Questions and comments are welcome. I will send this off to the Art House Co-op in the next day or two - EARLY!! This book will not be returning to me. It will become a part of the art house co-op's library after it goes on tour and I am okay with that! I like the experience of creating it more that being able to keep it. My house is very small and already overflowing with art! : )
