The 100 day project
I have been away for a bit, but I’ve still been playing with my art materials! I signed up for the 100 day project (the official site) and began on February 14, 2022. Choose a theme, a focus, or an objective, and make your own rules. The basic idea is to work on your goal and document your progress, doing a little bit towards it every day, for 100 days. The trick is not to make what you do daily be too complicated or so time consuming that you can’t fit it into your daily activities. I must say, it is a challenge to do a daily project but somehow I have managed to make it to #85 out of 100 by today, May 14, 2022.
I’ve been posting to my account on Instagram to keep myself in check with where I am with the project, so some of you reading this may have already seen many of the items I have posted there. But I wanted to gather everything I have done for this project in one place, so I made a page to showcase it on my website and it’s here - The 100 Day Project: 2022
You can take a quick look and get an overview of what I have been doing for this project, or if you click on any of the small pictures, they will open up by themselves much larger. Once any photo is open in the gallery, you can use the side arrow to go as slow or fast as you want, like a slideshow. There are 2 galleries and one small ‘carousel’ that showcases a small accordion book I made.
