A Woodstork
A look at the Anhinga, a bird who can swim underwater.
We celebrated our Anniversary at Whitney Beach on Longboat Key and watched a beautiful Snowy Egret fishing.
The Great Egret
Sandhill Cranes are such large magnificent birds. Today I saw them walking down the street. A neighborhood dog started to follow them and they scurried away while making their distinctive call. Then they flew away!
We saw so many crows while out on the river, it almost looked like a murmuration of starlings.
