Business Card Pocket page

A step-by-step of my latest pocket journal page. I used an old business card I created on the left side. It has a multiple exposure photo I did of Conscious Movement on the front of it and my info plus a small photo of me and Steve on the back. The pages in this journal are so small, the card extends over the edge of the page. I like how the photo of me & Steve now accompanies the photo of our granddaughter on the flip side of the page. Happy serendipity!

I also used Lyra Watercolor crayons, which I wet with a water brush to surround the Business card and Distress Oxide ink for the background on the right side. I applied that with a sponge and also spritzed a tiny bit Distress Spray Stain in picked raspberry. I finished by writing a few words (the place on the map) and doodling flowers!

I have been happily spending more time on my website as of late, as you might have been able to tell! Besides blogging more about my art projects, I've been adding to the web Galleries. Today I added 2 more galleries about Wolfe Island, Ontario - Wolfe Island Photos 2017 and Wolfe Island Sunsets. We try to spend time there every summer. It is a most beautiful, rural island and still visited every summer by Steven's large extended family. The WI Photos 2 has 2017 photos. Then yesterday I worked in the larger, handmade Urban Journal I made in an online workshop with Roben-Marie Smith. I am so happy I started filling the pages. Making space {both physical + figurative} for creativity is not a guilty pleasure.
Let there be zero art guilt from today forward.
